EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience in the cabling industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
- Pulling, routing, supporting, terminating, labeling and testing low voltage voice & data cat5/5e/6/Copper/Coax.
- Establish cable pathways as described by industry standards.
- Install termination blocks, patch panels and station hardware.
- Troubleshoot as necessary.
- Cleanup work site each day.
- Maintain compliance with all industry standards (NEC, TIA/EIA, BICSI).
- Adhere to all project safety requirements as established by the Company and OSHA.
- Maintain the Company’s high standard of quality and professionalism with regards to workmanship, customer relations, coworkers, behavior and appearance.
- Check and follow daily work schedule.
- Report to assigned work location on time and properly prepared with the correct hand tools.
- Train and direct Installers.
