Duties:
- Provide clerical support to attorneys and legal professionals
- Transcribe legal documents, correspondence, and memos
- Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain case files
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Utilize document management systems to organize and retrieve files
- Maintain an organized filing system for easy access to legal documents and contracts
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Attention to detail for accurate transcription and data entry
- Proficient in using document management systems and other software applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with Bankruptcy preparation and software is a plus, but is not required.
