Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Carpenter Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This paid apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in residential carpentry and construction, providing opportunities to develop essential skills such as blueprint reading, framing, trim work, and installation of various wood construction materials. Duties
- Assist experienced carpenters with construction tasks including framing, siding, and fixture installation
- Use hand tools and power tools safely for woodworking, framing, and finishing work
- Participate in heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols related to power tool operation
Skills
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at various heights or confined spaces
- Handyman experience or previous exposure to remodeling projects is advantageous
