The Dumas Housing Authority is seeking an experienced apartment maintenance technician. The ideal apartment maintenance technician would be someone with experience in apartment maintenance, HVAC service, appliances repair, plumbing and electrical.
- Prepare vacant units for market, including painting, drywall, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Perform routine repairs, including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, plumbing and light electrical.
- Perform routine quarterly unit inspections and preventive maintenance on the buildings.
- Perform on-call emergency repairs after-hours (evening and weekend hours variable).
- Routine grounds and seasonal cleanup duties as needed.
- All other relevant job duties as assigned by manager and Executive Director.
Employment Requirements:
- To ensure the safety of residents & staff, must be vaccinated for Covid 19 . If unvaccinated, receive 1st dose of vaccine prior to first day of employment.
- Must have valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Will be required to pass a background check and drug test.
- Must own and be able to use basic tools required for the job
- Lift/move up to approximately 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- 3+ years of apartment experience

Salary Range: Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.
