Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist guests with product demos and answer questions about merchandise or store services
- Upsell products and services to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic retail math calculations
- Use phone etiquette skills to answer inquiries, direct calls, and provide information professionally
- Support the store team with retail sales activities, including inventory management and checkout procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all guests
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a broader customer base effectively
- Experience supervising or leading others is advantageous for growth opportunities
- Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising, stock management, and grocery store operations is beneficial
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Excellent phone etiquette skills to handle guest inquiries professionally
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining excellent customer service standards
