Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in <LOCATION>. In this vital role, you will lead behavioral therapy interventions, conduct comprehensive patient assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee behavioral therapy programs grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles for children and individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Conduct detailed intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing patient assessments to determine needs and track progress
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to inform treatment adjustments and ensure measurable outcomes
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and support services
- Maintain accurate medical records, documentation of patient care activities, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and support staff to uphold high standards of patient care
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities to stay current with best practices in behavioral health
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) methods
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and medical documentation procedures
- Ability to perform patient assessments, including intake evaluations and diagnostic assessments
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and external providers
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health settings
