Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining medium-to-heavy duty trucks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and the ability to work independently and efficiently, while maintaining high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, services, and DOT inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose and complete a variety of mechanical tasks, including, but not limited to brakes, air bags, suspension, driveline, and hydraulics .
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues as needed to ensure proper function.
- Engine diagnostics.
- Fuel system and injector work.
- Turbo, EGR, and emmission system repair.
- Communicate repair needs.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of diesel mechanic expeirence required.
- Pay based on experience.
- Experience working on medium-to-heavy duty trucks.
- Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, inspections, and general truck repair.
- Ability to diagnose and complete repairs with minimal supervision.
- Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic.
- Must have own tools.
- CDL is not required, but a plus.
