Duties
- Diagnose and repair small engines, including lawn mowers, weed/hedge trimmers, chainsaws and generators
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on equipment
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs accurately
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and system inspections to ensure equipment reliability
- Provide excellent service by completing work in a timely and efficient manner
Qualifications
- Proven 3 years experience or service technician background specializing in small engine/lawn equipment repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in engine repair, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical systems repair
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex issues
- Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, generator repair and heavy machinery maintenance
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools and other mechanical devices safely and effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks; comfortable working in physically demanding environments
