SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION: Production and Warehouse team members will perform a range of tasks in supporting the production, packaging and movement of raw materials and finished products within the Novel Beverage production facility. Mon-Fri 8am-4pm.
Salaried Position, Commensurate with experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Assist in production/packaging of beverage products
- Assist in production/packaging of Gummy products
- Assist in production/packaging of Vape products
- Assist in production/packaging of future product lines
- Gathering of raw materials
- Assisting in inventory counts
- Inputting data into batching/production sheets
- Erecting corrugated boxes
- Preparing and loading pallets of bottles.
- Standing for long periods packing off bottles into cases
- Stacking 24 count cases of finished goods onto pallets
- Operating pallet jack and fork lift
- Changing out label rolls on labeler
- Ensuring proper QA is completed on all finished product
- General cleaning of production, warehouse and common areas
- Organization of dunnage
- Pulling and staging outgoing orders
- Driving/Riding in delivery truck on rare occasions
- Reports directly to General Manager/ Production Manager
- Strict adherence to OCP regulations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Drivers license
- Basic computer and internet competency
- Completed background check
- Gummy/Beverage production experience a plus
- Cannabis industry a plus
- METRC experience a plus
- Ability to obtain OCP Agent badge
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work will be conducted in Novel Beverage’s warehouse and production areas. Temperature in warehouse areas can vary by season.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to repetitively remove 12 ounce bottles from conveyor belt and place them into corrugated cardboard cases
- Must be able to repetitively lift and move 24 unit cases of 12 ounce liquid filled bottles weighing approximately 31 pounds/case, including in and out of a commercial transport vehicle
- Must be able to move and connect hoses
- Must be able to stand for long period of times
- Must be able to physically move pallet jack with up to 3000 pounds of load
- Must be able to bend over to pick item up from floor
- Must be able to repetitively lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
