Position: Wholesale Production Worker + Backup Service Technician
Monday-Thursday
Early morning/day shift
Approx. 15-20 hours/week
(specific schedule and number of hours somewhat negotiable)
-The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job duties, responsibilities, and requirements:
Under the supervision of the Production Manager:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Wholesale Production Worker
- Assist with fulfilling wholesale orders in our warehouse/roastery
- Use of machinery for grinding, packing, bagging coffee and tea
- Maintaining appropriate product back stock/par levels
- Occasional product deliveries within and outside of city limits
Under the supervision of the Service Manager/Lead Technician:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Backup Service Technician
(Including but not limited to)
- Assist with equipment service and repairs
- Maintenance and repair on Matador Coffee owned field equipment
- Filter changes
- Refurbishing and repairing equipment for resale
- Maintaining and repairing Matador Coffee shop equipment.
- Repair coffee brewers, espresso machines, coffee grinders, any equipment associated with coffee preparation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with hot beverage dispensing equipment is preferred but not required (training will be provided)
- Must possess basic computer/smartphone skills
- Must possess valid driver's license and be insurable as a driver w/ willingness to provide driver history report
- Ability to travel to stores and occasionally out of town
- Ability to use a multi-meter and other basic diagnostic tools
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers at all levels and strong desire to provide excellent customer service
- Provide equipment training to customers as needed to ensure quality beverage delivery
MINIMUM SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Basic math and mechanical skills
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Be punctual, dependable, and flexible
- Able to maintain a clean workspace and work efficiently
- Attention to detail
- Able to take direction

- Lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs. from the ground to overhead
- Ability to move machines weighing up to 300 lbs. w/help of dolly table or assistance from others
- Ability to crouch, stoop, squat, kneel, bend/twist at the waist, reach, grasp/manipulate objects, stand for long periods of time

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Working conditions inventory of the position includes:
· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at a normal range. The noise level can increase during coffee roasting.
- Work with high/potentially lethal voltage related to machines
- Ability to work in a stressful environment: such as fast-paced restaurants/coffee shops where you may need to stop working to assist customers.
