Correctional Mental Health Therapist (Contract) -Ionia, MI
Care One is seeking a Mental Health Professional to fill a position located inside the Bellamy Correctional Facility. These professionals will provide mental health services to inmates and play a vital role in their well-being.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP):
- Evaluate referrals for treatment needs of mentally ill or disabled prisoners.
- Facilitate group sessions on psychoeducation, psychosocial skills, and DBT.
- Specialized Therapy: Will provide Sex Offender Therapy to sex offenders, Assaultive Offender Therapy, and Substance Use Disorder Treatment
- Offer individual therapy per the treatment plan.
- Conduct needs assessments for prisoner re-entry and assist with post-release placement.
- Monitor behavior and recommend treatment adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with the treatment team for effective outcomes.
- Coordinate treatment to ensure alignment with goals.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with policies.
Qualifications for the Qualified Mental Health Professional:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology (accredited).
- Licensed as an LMSW, LPC, or Psychologist in the state of Michigan.
- Strong patient assessment, management, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work with diverse patients and staff as part of a team.
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities
- Experience in Specialized Therapies preferred
