Position Summary
Neill Aircraft Company is seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This position is responsible for producing precision aerospace components by forming, trimming, drilling, and shaping sheet metal parts using hand tools, fabrication equipment , fixtures, and inspection tools. This position follows detailed work instructions, blueprints, and quality standards to ensure parts meet customer and engineering specifications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Fabricate, trim, drill, form, shape, and fit sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.

Lay out and scribe parts using shop aids, fixtures, blueprints, and templates.

Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.

Verify materials and prior operations before beginning work.

Use measuring instruments, fixtures, jigs, and shop aids to ensure parts meet specifications.

Safely operate fabrication equipment and common shop machinery.

Record job activity using Epicor (MRP system).

Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Work efficiently in a fast -paced manufacturing while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications

Previous experience with sheet metal fabrication, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on production environment preferred.

Ability to use common hand tools, fabrication equipment, and precision measuring instruments.

Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation.

Basic understanding of sheet metal processes such as drilling, trimming, forming, fitting, and layout.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect parts and maintain quality standards.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

This position requires access to U.S. Munitions List (USML) technical data. Hence the individual must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident or otherwise be specifically authorized by a license from the U.S. government to have access to USML technical data.
Physical Requirements
This position requires standing for extended periods, frequent use of hands and arms, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with moving equipment and moderate to high noise levels.
