Basic Function:
The basic function of the Carpenter is to help with the timely and proper completion of installation projects. Carpenter is responsible for all equipment assigned to him and for various other assigned tasks which should all be completed using high quality standards. Carpenter is responsible for representing the company in a manner that promotes positive client relations. The ideal candidate for the carpenter position would have at least 3 years of drywall exp.
Responsibilities:
- Build walls, hang and finish drywall, and paint.
- Calculate and order materials.
- Multi-task, work as a team player and maintain a positive attitude.
- Answer all office pages/calls in a timely manner.
- Be neat and clean at all times and keep vehicles, equipment, and work spaces the same.
- Adhere to proper procedures in the use of paperwork (work order, etc...).
- Work overtime hours as needed to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience as a Carpenter
- Working Knowledge of Construction
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings
- Must be detail-oriented with a passion for perfection
- Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs or more
- Must be drug free and have a clean driving record
- Good hygiene and cleanliness is required at all times
- Must adhere to the company uniform policy
- Follow rules and regulations as described in the company handbook
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisor
