We're looking for an experienced Patient Care Coordinator who is organized, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This is more than a front desk position—you'll play a key role in creating an exceptional patient experience while supporting a growing, team-oriented practice.

Responsibilities
As our Patient Care Coordinator, you will be one of the first impressions of our practice. Responsibilities include:
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments across multiple providers and specialties.
- Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage.
- Obtain prior authorizations when applicable.
- Check patients in and out while providing exceptional customer service.
- Collect copays, balances, and payments.
- Assist patients with questions regarding appointments, services, insurance, and billing.
- Maintain accurate patient records within our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Coordinate communication between providers, medical assistants, and patients.
- Respond promptly to patient messages and appointment requests.
- Support front desk operations while maintaining efficiency during busy periods.
- Cross-train in multiple areas of the clinic and assist with additional administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications Required
- At least 1 year of related experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, customer service, or administrative role.
- Experience with medical insurance verification and benefits is highly preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Strong scheduling and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
- Comfortable learning new software and technology.
- Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records (EMR experience preferred).
Preferred
- Experience in a medical spa, aesthetics practice, chiropractic office, or integrative healthcare setting.
- Experience with Cerbo, ChiroTouch, or similar EMR systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Previous experience as a Patient Care Coordinator, Medical Receptionist, or Front Desk Coordinator.
