Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. Duties
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, utilizing inventory management software and ERP systems for tracking.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and stock updates in warehouse management systems.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely to load and unload goods efficiently.
- Assist with shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations.
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing storage areas, stocking shelves, and managing order picking processes.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations, improve order fulfillment times, and uphold safety standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, logistics, and international trade regulations.
- Experience with order fulfillment processes including picking & packing, order picking, and packaging techniques.
- Ability to operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, data entry accuracy, and shipment calculations.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and external carriers.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including stocking procedures, trade compliance standards, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.
