American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 3 years of OR experience.

Work in the Operating Room of a 186-bed Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital
-
Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
-
On-call required 1–2 times per week from 7:30 PM – 11:00 PM
-
Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed by the department

Epic EMR used; experience is required
-
Scrubs are provided for this role

Free parking available in any unrestricted space

Active RN license (Compact or Connecticut state license) currently in hand

Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
-
Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required

Epic EMR experience required

No prior disciplinary actions or encumbrances on nursing license

Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Orientation is held every other Monday at this campus

Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler

Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility
