We are seeking a highly qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a genuine passion for working with children to join our multi-disciplinary clinic in a 100% on-site position. The ideal candidate is caring, collaborative, and committed to supporting children and their families through evidence-based, family-centered intervention. While prior pediatric experience is preferred, it is not required. Strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLP Assistants (SLPAs) are enthusiastically encouraged to apply.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide speech, language, and communication evaluations and therapy to pediatric clients in a clinic-based setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and caregivers.
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation of sessions, progress notes, and reports.
- Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team (e.g., OT, PT, behavioral, medical professionals) to support holistic care.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding goals, strategies, and progress.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities.
- Uphold clinic policies, ethical guidelines, and professional standards of practice.
Qualifications/Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of an accredited SLP program (for CFs); or appropriate training/credentials for SLPAs per state requirements.
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist or SLPA.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred for licensed SLPs; CFs actively pursuing CCCs are welcome.
- Prior experience working with children and families is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated dependability, dedication, and highly developed communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and a commitment to high-quality, family-centered care.
