Bartender – White Pine Supper Club
Overview:
White Pine Supper Club is looking for a dynamic, energetic, and hospitality-driven Bartender to join our growing team in Ellison Bay. As one of the faces of our bar and dining experience, you will play an important role in creating memorable evenings for both locals and visitors through exceptional service, quality cocktails, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
At White Pine, we blend classic supper club hospitality with a Nordic-inspired dining experience focused on thoughtful ingredients, elevated comfort food, and genuine guest connections. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new and growing restaurant concept attached to The Ellison Inn & Lounge.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency, care, and attention to presentation.
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional guest service while creating a welcoming bar atmosphere.
- Accurately enter orders, process payments, and manage tabs using Toast POS.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area while following all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and a safe environment.
- Restock liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies throughout service.
- Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy dinner shifts.
- Help contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on hospitality and guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, supper club, cocktail bar, or hospitality setting preferred.
- Bartender certification preferred.
- Experience using Toast POS or similar restaurant POS systems.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
- Must be dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
