This role is ideal for a true sales hunter who can identify opportunities, develop long-term partnerships, and close business in the elevator modernization, service, and repair market.
What You'll Do: Drive New Business Across Northeast Ohio
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout the Akron, Cuyahoga Falls, Canton, and Greater Cleveland markets.
- Develop relationships with building owners, property managers, general contractors, developers, architects, and elevator consultants.
- Build a strong pipeline of modernization, repair, and maintenance opportunities.
Build Strong Industry Relationships
- Become a trusted resource for clients seeking elevator and escalator solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with property managers, facility managers, and construction professionals.
- Represent the company at industry networking events, trade associations, and local business organizations.
Sell Smart Solutions
- Present customized elevator modernization, maintenance, and repair solutions that meet each customer's needs.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close new business.
- Partner with internal operations and technical teams to deliver exceptional customer solutions.
Support Project Success
- Coordinate with operations and project management to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and generate repeat business.
Stay Ahead of the Market
- Monitor local construction activity, capital improvement projects, and modernization opportunities.
- Track sales activity, maintain an accurate pipeline, and provide market insights to leadership.
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of business-to-business sales experience in the elevator industry or a related industry (commercial construction, building services, HVAC, mechanical contracting, facilities, or similar).
- Elevator industry sales or operational experience is preferred.
- Experience working with commercial property owners, facility managers, contractors, developers, or construction professionals is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business, build strong customer relationships, and close sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a competitive market.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent sales or industry experience.
