American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 3 years of OR experience.

Operating Room (OR) unit within a 186-bed Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital
-
Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
-
On-call required 1–2 times per week, 7:30 PM – 11:00 PM
-
Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed by the department

Charting via Epic (experience required)

Scrubs provided for this role

Free parking available in any unrestricted space

Active CT or Compact RN license required

BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred

Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience required

Epic EMR experience required

1 professional reference required for consideration

Candidates must not have any prior disciplinary actions on their nursing license

RN orientation held every other Monday at this campus

Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted

COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted

Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler

Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved by the facility

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates are not accepted for this role
