Silver Star Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position involves precision welding of steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel components while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and takes pride in producing clean, accurate welds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
- Monitor welding processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper penetration, strength, and appearance.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
- Repair or rework welds as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and welding standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 - 5 years of TIG welding experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of welding safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational or technical training in welding.
- Experience with additional welding processes (MIG, Stick).
- Welding certifications (AWS, ASME, or equivalent).
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15-25lbs.
- Must be able to safely use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.50 - $29.00 per hour
