The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance of the exterior physical features of the site, under the direction of the Site Manager. They are responsible for maintaining the grounds, amenities, and overall curb appeal of the property for residents and potential residents.

Job Duties Include:Resident Relations:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with residents by responding to requests, questions, and concerns.
- Refer resident requests, comments, and/or needs to your manager as appropriate.
- Provide courteous communication and customer service to residents you encounter.
Financial Operations:
- May be responsible for maintaining cleaning supplies and requesting re-orders of supplies, as necessary. Responsible for the proper use of these supplies.
Property Management:
- Remove debris on lawn, sidewalks, and driveways/parking lots as well as maintain playgrounds (where applicable).
- Maintain area around dumpster. Alert manager to large items that will require special pick up.
- Water lawns, shrubs, and bushes.
- Sweep off outside steps or stoops.
- Pull and/or spray weeds around garages/building and in flowerbeds.
- Responsible for using supplies and equipment within safety standards and reporting any safety hazards identified.
- Responsible for the care and timely maintenance of all equipment entrusted to his/her care.
Leadership:
- Be responsible and accountable for your actions and reactions.
- Understand and engage in trainings, projects and processes aligned to this role and any organization-wide required trainings within the defined timelines.
- Work side by side along with leadership and support teams as appropriate.

Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
Experience, Education, and Licensure
1. Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, manage time as well as possess an orientation toward details.
2. A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.
3. Prior groundskeeping experience is preferred.
4. Knowledge of the English language and must be able to verbally communicate.
