Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Vintage Automotive Mechanical/Electrical Rebuild Technician to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for restoring and rebuilding classic vehicles with precision and expertise, ensuring each vehicle meets the highest standards of quality and authenticity. Your technical proficiency in automotive systems, electrical wiring, and mechanical components will be vital in bringing vintage vehicles back to life. Duties
- Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild vintage vehicle engines, transmissions, and electrical systems with meticulous attention to detail
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to accurately diagnose electrical issues and perform repairs
- Repair or replace powertrain components, suspension systems, and vehicle drivetrain systems to restore optimal performance
- Document repair procedures thoroughly and maintain detailed service records
- Proven service technician experience working on classic or vintage vehicles is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, including diesel engine repair and vehicle systems troubleshooting
- Proficiency in automotive electrical systems, wiring diagram interpretation, and the use of automotive diagnostic tools
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance machinery safely and effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team, while maintaining high-quality standards
