This role is designed for skilled professionals who are passionate about supporting children’s growth and mobility in educational settings. You’ll work on-site 3-4 days a week, averaging 21-28 hours. The position offers varied experiences as you provide services in locations across Carbon and Lehigh Counties.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with preschool students in a school setting
- Strong understanding of state and school-based therapy guidelines
- Ability to work in-person only (no remote or hybrid options)
- Willingness to travel within the designated regions as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to preschool-aged students, promoting physical development and participation within the school environment
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district reporting standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with staff and families
