We are looking for Room Attendants to join our award winning team at The Sound Hotel Seattle Belltown, located in Seattle, WA. If you have an impeccable eye for the small details, we’d like to meet you! Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us. Room Attendant responsibilities include changing towels, making beds and cleaning bathrooms. You will address clients’ queries and make sure our rooms are fully-stocked, clean and inviting at all times.
Schedule:
This position requires flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.
Typical shifts are:
- Weekdays: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Schedules are assigned based on business needs. Availability to work weekends and some holidays is required.
Responsibilities
- Change bed linen and make beds
- Replace used towels
- Sweep and mop floors
- Vacuum carpets
- Clean bathrooms
- Dust furniture
- Replenish bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo)
- Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
- Address guests’ queries (e.g. on additional services)
- Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift
- Follow hotel security guidelines
Skills
- At minimum, two (2) years of previous work experience as a Room Attendant required
- Prior hotel experience is highly preferred
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products
- Flexibility to work in shifts
- Ability to follow instructions
- This position involves continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-40 pounds.
