Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Restock bar supplies including glassware, garnishes, liquor, and mixers to ensure smooth service during busy hours
- Assist with food preparation such as garnishing drinks, preparing simple snacks, or handling light kitchen tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by cleaning glasses, utensils, countertops, and equipment regularly
- Buss tables and clear used dishes to keep the dining area tidy and inviting for guests
- Support bartenders by taking drink orders from guests and delivering beverages promptly
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros or OpenTable when required
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant settings, or hospitality roles such as host/hostess or banquet staff
- Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and basic bartending skills is a plus
- Strong cleaning and dishwashing skills to maintain hygiene standards
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks including garnishing and light meal assembly
- Excellent communication skills for effective guest interactions and teamwork
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros or OpenTable for order taking and cash handling
- Basic math skills for managing transactions accurately and counting change confidently
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Experience with catering or banquet service is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
