Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Door and Hardware Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for Swinging, repairing, and maintaining commercial doors, hardware, and related fixtures across various construction sites and commercial buildings. Your expertise will ensure that all installations meet safety standards, building codes, and client specifications. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a broad skill set, and contribute to the safety and functionality of commercial spaces. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, and passionate about delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
SPL also installs commercial millwork and specialty projects ranging from medical to high end office spaces. You must be willing to help install scopes outside of doors.

Responsibilities
- Swing, repair, and replace commercial doors, frames, hardware (locks, handles, hinges), and related fixtures with precision and efficiency
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and building plans to ensure accurate installation aligned with project specifications
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair techniques to complete tasks effectively
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project deadlines throughout all phases of installation
- Perform pre-electrical work related to door access systems or electronic hardware when required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial door installation including closers and medical door hardware.
- Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and safety gear in construction settings
- Strong understanding of building code compliance standards relevant to commercial door systems and hardware installations
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately for precise project execution
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members during installations
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as required by project demands

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
