Job Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for neonatal intensive care patients
- Perform tracheostomy care
- Oral suctioning and management of oral secretions
- G-button care and feedings
- PICC line care, medication administration, heparin flush protocol, IV administration, and TPN management
- Recognize, respond to, and manage sympathetic storming
- Position infants receiving respiratory support
- Perform personal hygiene for infants with tracheostomies, including dressing changes, diapering, and bathing
- Provide care for premature infants
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience, including tracheostomy care
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to new facilities, workflows, and clinical environments
- Additional onboarding documentation and screening requirements will be discussed during the hiring process
