We are looking for someone who can work in the buildings and on the ground to ensure the completion of custodial activity with flexibility, courtesy and efficiency. Be a living example of our parish mission to “live and share Christ’s call to holiness”.
The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee (not necessarily to do all), with assistance from staff or volunteers:
- Cleaning: Basic daily cleaning for multiple buildings
- Seasonal Grounds: Seasonal lawn care leaf removal, mowing & shoveling
- Work orders: Communicate, do or delegate and track completion
- Daily boiler checks: Pursue Specialized Boiler License within the first year if not already obtained
- Managing keys and key locks: Make, repair and replace as needed
- Visually inspect: Check equipment and restock supplies around campus on a continual basis; includes asbestos online training
- Weekly Touchbase: Be available for weekly connection and communication with supervisor
- Additional Duties: When available, set up & take down for small events, emergency responses, special projects, providing building access for vendors, organizing volunteers
