FEDEX GROUND DELIVERY DRIVER – FULL-TIME (INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR)

Starting in August, the work location/base will move to the Miramar area.

Job Description:
We are an independent contractor for FedEx Ground seeking reliable, motivated, and hardworking full-time delivery drivers to join our growing team. Drivers will report daily to our current San Diego terminal location, with operations transitioning to Miramar beginning in August.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a delivery vehicle in various weather and traffic conditions
Complete all assigned deliveries and pickups daily
Use a handheld scanner to track deliveries and route progress
Load, unload, lift, and carry packages throughout the shift
Follow GPS directions and delivery procedures accurately
Maintain a professional and customer-friendly attitude
Work efficiently as part of a team

Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old
Weekend availability is REQUIRED
Commercial driving or delivery experience preferred but not required
Experience driving a box truck or similar-sized vehicle preferred
Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen, background check, road test, and obstacle course
Clean DMV record (no more than 1 point)
Must be physically capable of lifting and moving packages throughout the day
