Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations within the restaurant or food service industry. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals while adhering to food safety and handling standards. This role is crucial in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and cooking equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all food products.
- Assist in menu planning and development, considering dietary restrictions and preferences.

- Manage inventory levels.
- Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring efficiency and safety in the kitchen.
- Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to clients.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred, with a focus on food handling and safety practices.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and cuisines is advantageous.
- Experience working in a dietary department or catering environment is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
- A valid food handler's certification is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
