Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic HVAC/Plumbing Region Recruiter to lead talent acquisition efforts across multiple locations within our HVAC and plumbing divisions. This role is vital in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier technicians, installers, and support staff to ensure our service teams are staffed with skilled professionals. Core Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruiting strategies to attract qualified HVAC and plumbing talent across the region, utilizing social media marketing (recruitment), job boards, and networking events.
- Manage full cycle recruiting processes, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, negotiating offers, and onboarding new hires to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Build strong relationships with internal hiring managers at all levels to understand staffing needs and provide expert guidance on talent acquisition best practices.
- Conduct high-volume recruitment campaigns, leveraging talent management software (such as Indeed and TradeRunner) and the Workday applicant tracking system to track progress and maintain accurate records.
- Engage in campus recruitment initiatives and external recruiting efforts to build a diverse pipeline of skilled tradespeople for future growth.
- Utilize research and cold calling techniques to identify passive candidates and generate leads for hard-to-fill positions.
- Ensure compliance with HR legal requirements related to employment law in talent management while maintaining a focus on candidate sourcing excellence.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience required.
- Broad knowledge of Talent Acquisition function in roles of increasing responsibility
- Minimum thee (3) years of experience with permanent placement/direct-hire recruiting experience
- Proven experience in technical recruiting within the HVAC or plumbing industries or similar skilled trades sectors.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication skills to engage candidates effectively.
- Familiarity with Workday and Indeed, or similar platforms for employee data management.
- Knowledge of employment law applicable to talent acquisition and human resources best practices.
- Experience with social media marketing (recruitment), lead generation, and relationship management tools.
- Hands-on and results driven, you love analytics and using them to drive recruiting and thus business outcomes.
- Previous multi-site, decentralized recruiting responsibility preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
