I. Summary:
Life Science Products, Inc. (LSP), an employee-owned company, has been providing interior finish construction materials and services to the Medical
Science and Technology Research Field for 50 years. Our proven solutions are used by the most highly respected Government, Private and Public
Medical Research Institutions in the U.S. and Canada. We are currently seeking a Construction Estimator to join our team. This role will be
responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial interior finishes including flooring, wall and ceiling systems, doors, and wall
protection. The right individual must be detail oriented and have excellent analytical and communication skills. LSP offers all employees competitive

II. Dutie and Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze blueprints, specs, and other documents to understand scopes of work.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with PM's, architects, engineers, clients and sales team to gather necessary information.
- Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers
- Perform accurate takeoff and material counts
- Set up awarded jobs and contracts in ERP systems and Trello.
- Prepare and send project proposals and contracts.
- Provide customer, sales and management support, field calls, distribute samples and literature.
- Other duties as assigned.
III. Skilled Requirements:
- An Associate degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills are key, the ability to effectively communicate on the phone and through email are required.
- Competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and Bluebeam.
- Previous on-the-job training is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Time management; organization and strong multitasking skills are required.
IV. Work Hours and Setting:
Work hours are generally standard office operating hours. Work is in a general informal office atmosphere.
