Minimum Qualifications:
- Be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Possesses clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Shall have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to follow written and verbal directions and apply practical problem-solving skills if needed.
- Posses sufficient computer skills.
- Ability to maintain or supervise the maintenance of financial and other records.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Professional in appearance and conduct.
- Be of good character and a continuing reputation of personal integrity.
- Be in good health, and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks. Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days after employment.
- Free from pulmonary tuberculosis within seven (7) days of employment and annually thereafter.
- Has current first aid card upon hire and maintains current status throughout employment.
- Must be criminally cleared by DOJ and FBI via the Live-Scan process prior to employment and be able to pass drug testing.
- Must have dependable transportation and able to work varying hours as needed.
General Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
2. Accept resident requests and delegates to proper department to respond.
3. Direct visitors.
4. Identify and sign in all visitors and vendors to the facility.
5. Handle incoming and outgoing mail and faxes.
6. Contact community services as directed by the administrator.
7. Various other office and clerical duties.
