21st CCLC After School Program –Cohort O
This program was developed under a grant awarded by the Michigan Department of Education.
Ensure compliance with all 21st CCLC grant requirements and reporting obligations.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, program activities, and staff hours.
Prepare and submit required reports to the Program Director and funding agencies.
Safety and Compliance
Ensure all child care licenses for K8 schools are valid and uptodate.
Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures.
Address any behavioral or disciplinary issues in accordance with program policies.
Community Partnerships
Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, local businesses,
and other stakeholders to enhance program offerings and resources.
Coordinate with school staff and administration to align afterschool programming
with the school day curriculum.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher in Education, Child Development, Social Work, or a
related field.
Experience in an educational or afterschool program setting.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students, parents, staff, and
community members.
Knowledge of 21st CCLC program goals and requirements is preferred.
Must meet Child Care Licensing requirements.
CPR and First Aid certification is required (or willingness to obtain).
