Duties
- Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and wheel-lift models, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently and safely.
- Assess vehicle conditions using automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge to determine the best towing approach.
- Secure cargo properly following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit.
- Load and unload vehicles carefully, ensuring adherence to safety standards and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
- Conduct routine inspections of tow truck equipment, including vehicle mechanics for truck drivers, to ensure operational readiness.
- Manage conflict situations professionally when resolving customer concerns or handling roadside emergencies.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Hands-on experience with flatbed tow trucks, wheel-lift systems, or similar equipment. (Preferred not required)
- Knowledge of cargo securement protocols to ensure safe transport of various vehicle types. (Preferred not required)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Physical ability to load, unload, and secure vehicles repeatedly throughout shifts; familiarity with conflict management is a plus. Pay: $1,000.00 - $3,000.00 per week
