Associate Attorney (Admitted in New York) – Plaintiff’s Litigation
Salary starting at $120,000 and commensurate with experience
A well-established plaintiff’s law firm based in Nassau County, NY is seeking a full-time experienced Attorney who is admitted to practice in New York. This is an in-person position based in Syosset.
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented attorney to join our team. Individual must have strong leadership and organizational skills who can effectively work with a team, maintain accountability, and ensure deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in New York courts for in-person and remote court appearances, including conferences, motions, and hearings
- Review and approve legal documents including pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and settlement agreements
- Maintain communication with firm management and clients throughout all phases of litigation
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the New York Bar (REQUIRED)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within New York for court appearances
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior litigation experience or creditor’s rights law experience preferred but not required
- Admission to the New Jersey Bar is a strong plus
- Prior courtroom and trial experience

Compensation:
- Starting at $120,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience
