About the Role
Expert Traffic Control is looking for a dependable and organized Recruiting/Admin Assistant to support our hiring efforts in-office. We are a fast-paced, growing company with a high demand for hiring, and this role plays a key part in helping us bring on new employees quickly and efficiently.
This position supports hiring for field-based, safety-sensitive roles, so attention to detail, responsiveness, and follow-through are essential.
You will work closely with our HR and Recruiting team to keep the hiring process moving—from first contact with candidates through onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates
- Conduct initial phone and in-person interviews
- Communicate with candidates via phone, text, and email throughout the hiring process
- Assist candidates through onboarding paperwork (Paylocity)
- Follow up on missing documents and ensure onboarding steps are completed
- Manage a high volume of candidates and keep processes organized
- Track candidate progress and ensure timely movement through each stage
- Provide general administrative and recruiting support as needed

- Ability to follow through and keep things moving without constant direction

Tools & Systems (Preferred but not required)
- Experience with Paylocity or similar HR systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams or similar platforms
- Comfortable using phone, text, and email for candidate communication
