Local Cleveland wholesaler of plumbing, heating & industrial supplies is hiring to fulfill a non-CDL delivery driver position.
- Monday-Friday only 7:30am-4pm or until the route is completed. (This could change to an earlier start time)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
- Must possess a DOT Medical card
Job Purpose:
Delivers items by preparing, loading, unloading, safely operating vehicle, and maintaining records of delivered items.
Duties:
- Prepares truck for operation by inspecting general condition. Follows all safety procedures including performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload trucks as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Delivers items by identifying destinations; establishing route; operating the truck; unloading items; maintaining schedule.
- Serves customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints.
- Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
