This contract position is for a skilled SLP to cover a maternity leave from 11/16/26 to 1/29/27, working with approximately 50 elementary students, including those in both resource classrooms and the RISE program for moderate disabilities. Enjoy flexibility, as this position can be fulfilled either virtually or onsite based on your preference.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Washington State SLP License and ESA required
- CCC-SLP certification
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Experience supporting elementary-aged children, including those with moderate disabilities
- Strong communication, case management, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate well with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, intervention, and consultative speech-language services as outlined in student IEPs
- Collaborate with resource and RISE program staff to meet the varied needs on your caseload
- Maintain accurate therapy records, progress monitoring, and timely completion of Medicaid/IEP paperwork
- Work alongside teachers and related service providers to foster inclusive educational experiences
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and strategies for support
