Construction company seeking a Small Engine Technician. The Small Engine Technician position requires a high level of experience. The Technician should be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Scissor lifts, small Engines such as Ford Trucks, Forklifts, Reach Lifts and Tow behind Atlas Compressors. The successful candidate will need to have a proven ability to work well with people. Experience with keeping track of parts inventory and ordering parts.
Qualifications:
· Applicant must be able to perform basic diagnosis on concrete equipment including 4 cycle engines.
· Must have a strong mechanical skill and a willingness to advance
· Basic computer skills
· Be punctual and organized
· Able to work well with others

Duties include:
· Service, diagnosis and repair of described equipment
· Maintains condition of inventory, tools and equipment
· Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
· Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
· Maintains a personal inventory of required tools to perform normal job-related tasks
· You will perform repairs, and assist other mechanics with general shop equipment maintenance as directed
Physical Demands:
The minimum physical requirements for this position include:
- Lifting at least 7 to 15 lbs on a routine basis; lifting 50 lbs or more in many instances;
- Bending, climbing, stooping and twisting are routine;
- Manual dexterity; working with tools and parts, assembly of equipment;
- Ability to stand and walk consistently for up to 4 hours or more at a time;
- Ability to physically handle all equipment;
- Handle and move equipment into, out of and throughout yard/shop, which entails lifting and pushing
