The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of quality nursing care to residents while providing leadership and support to nursing staff. Working under the direction of the attending physician, Director of Nursing, and Medical Director, the RN Supervisor ensures that resident care is delivered in a safe, compassionate, and professional manner.
This role includes supervising nursing personnel, monitoring resident health status, coordinating care plans, and ensuring compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide and oversee direct nursing care to residents.
- Supervise and support licensed and non-licensed nursing staff.
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and appropriate team members.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and modifying individualized care plans to meet residents' physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care and services.
- Promote a positive, resident-centered environment that supports quality of life and dignity.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, professional standards of practice, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Participate in staff education, mentoring, and performance monitoring initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards preferred.

Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
