Yankee Point Marina is hiring a Dockmaster to lead daily operations of our full-service marina in Virginia's Northern Neck. This is a hands-on, year-round leadership role — not a seasonal gig — running the docks, fuel operation, ship's store, rental fleet, reservations, and dockhand team.
- Run daily marina operations — docks, fuel dock, ship's store, saltwater pool, rental boats, and facilities
- Manage all reservations and contracts through Dockwa (transient, monthly, seasonal, annual, boatyard)
- Lead, schedule, and train the dockhand team
- Greet and assist boaters; be the face of Yankee Point
- Own safety, compliance, and emergency response
- 3+ years marina, boatyard, or harbor experience, including supervising staff
- Strong knowledge of recreational boating and dock operations; comfortable with boats up to 60 ft
- Proficient with POS and reservation software (Dockwa or comparable)
- Outstanding customer service; calm under pressure
- Valid driver's license; able to pass background and drug screen
- Able to walk docks all day in all weather, lift 50 lb, operate small powerboats, and swim
USCG OUPV license, CPR/First Aid, Certified Pool Operator, forklift/Travelift experience, VHF radio license, or PeekPro experience.
