Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Painter to join our vibrant construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other coatings using brushes, rollers, airless spray equipment, or power tools with precision and efficiency
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project scope and specific requirements for each job
- Use hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, brushes, rollers, and power tools including sanders and sprayers to complete tasks effectively
- Perform surface repairs including drywall patching, plastering, stucco application, masonry work, and fixture installation for seamless finishes
- Execute specialized painting techniques like industrial painting or restoration projects while adhering to safety standards
- Assist with construction estimating by assessing materials needed for painting projects and collaborating with project managers on timelines
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste properly throughout each project
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, or other tradespeople during remodeling or renovation projects to ensure cohesive progress
Experience
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and ability to work efficiently in active environments
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools including airless sprayers, welding equipment (if applicable), and scaffolding setup
- Skills in construction estimating related to paint quantities and surface preparation materials
- Background in related trades such as carpentry (trim or frame), masonry or plastering is highly desirable
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates accurately
- Prior experience in renovation or restoration projects is a plus but not required

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
