Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 1st Grade Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a love of education from the very beginning of their academic journey. Duties
- Develop and deliver dynamic lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development, differentiated instruction, and educational technology integration to meet diverse learning needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress through regular performance data analysis, standardized testing, and formative assessments to tailor instruction effectively.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, special education staff, and administrators to implement curriculum standards and ensure compliance with educational regulations.
- Engage in parent-teacher communication through conferences, updates, and digital platforms to foster strong home-school connections.
- Incorporate literacy education, math skills, and early childhood development principles into daily activities that promote holistic growth.
- Support students with special needs or those requiring early intervention by adapting teaching strategies and collaborating with specialists as needed.
Requirements
- Proven classroom experience teaching young children at the elementary level, preferably in private or Montessori settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development, learning styles adaptability, and behavior management techniques.
- Experience working with students with autism or other special needs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and school administration.
- Proficiency in learning technology tools, educational software, and library services to enhance lesson delivery.
- Demonstrated ability in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and student performance data analysis.
- Certification or licensure in early childhood education or elementary teaching is required; additional qualifications in special education or Montessori methods are a plus.

Pay: $45,123.19 - $66,384.91 per year
