Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Import/Export Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of international trade operations, ensuring compliance with global trade regulations, and facilitating seamless movement of goods across borders. Your expertise will help optimize supply chain efficiency while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards.
Duties
- Coordinate and Audit TRMX work instructions/workflow chart for import/export to ensure that there are in-process control points for daily operations.
- Facilitate, assist, and lead with TRMX plants to eliminate processes control points which are deemed “Risky” to Import-Export.
- Ensure ZOE software is 100% functional and spearhead concerns to resolution.
- Audit and Validate IN & OUT, WI associated with daily transactions for (annex 24).
- Establish best practices and ensure standardize operation between NLD/MAM and TSMX related to Import-Export.
- Audit & review inventory compliance issues and prevent aging and Raw Materials.
- Audit Bi-Monthly Reconciliation of I&E (Annex 24) vs Physical Inventory or Historical
- Coordinate with TRMX plants monthly Asset reporting changes and coordinate yearly Asset inventory to find items which are not in compliance
- Report any open Inventory differences under Annex 24 vs Data Stage “SAT” portal
- Recommend to Management and work with External Lawyers on SAT issues
- Implement improved I/E fixed asset procedures.
- Ensure recertification (VAT AAA) process is completed timely/accurately every 3 years and be in compliance with OEA
- Ensure that TRMX has all I/E requirements up to date related to (SAT, IMMEX and VAT)
- Work with TRMX/TSNT Import-Export to meet Business plan for each fiscal year (Ki)
- Able to travel to Mexico facilities as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree Economics, Accounting or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of demonstrated experience in similar capacity.
- Experience in manufacturing environment required
- v Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
- Ability to Audit USA & MX Taxes.
- Knowledge and Audit SAT, IMMEX, VAT and OEA guidelines
- Strong leadership development skills.
- Ability to concurrently manage multiple tasks/projects.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
