We are looking for friendly, dependable convenience store clerks to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, provides excellent customer service, and helps maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked store environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming shopping experience
- Operate the cash register quickly, accurately, and professionally
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile transactions
- Restock shelves, coolers, and merchandise throughout the day
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low-stock items
- Keep the store clean, organized, and safe, including counters, floors, restrooms, and food/beverage areas
- Assist customers with questions, product locations, and purchases
- Follow company policies and safety procedures
- Help with opening and closing duties as needed
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math and cash-handling abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/restock merchandise
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred but not required
Schedule
- Weekday, evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required
Work Environment
This position involves standing for long periods, frequent customer interaction, and routine cleaning and stocking duties in a retail convenience store setting.
