CDL A Truck Driver (Lowboy) – Construction Contractor (Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Travel to Various Job Sites
Schedule: Monday – Friday | ~40+ Hours/Week | Overtime Available
Pay: $28 – $32 per hour (Based on Experience)
Position Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire (After 90 Working Days)
We're Hiring!
A well-established construction contractor is looking for an experienced and dependable CDL A Driver. This position involves driving a company truck and pulling a trailer loaded with construction pipe and heavy equipment to job sites. You’ll be a key player in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Drive a company truck pulling trailers loaded with 80,000+ lbs
- Haul construction pipe and heavy equipment to and from job sites
- Load, secure, and chain down heavy equipment safely and correctly
- Operate lowboy trailers and load/unload equipment as needed
- Operate heavy construction equipment when required
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Work ~40+ hours per week, with regular overtime
- Travel to various job sites and work in all weather conditions
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class A license
- No automatic transmission restrictions on CDL
- Experience with lowboy trailers and transporting heavy loads
- Proven ability to haul 80,000+ lbs safely and efficiently
- Skilled in securing loads with chains and proper tie-downs
- Experience operating heavy construction equipment
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Strong work ethic and reliability are a must
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Competitive Pay & Benefits:
