Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, with a focus on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires proficiency in equipment repair and the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC systems. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine inspections of heating and cooling equipment.
- Utilize an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Plumb and boil necessary components for system repairs.
- Perform equipment repairs on refrigeration units, including ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Weld components as needed for system modifications or repairs.
- Refrigerate systems as required during maintenance tasks.
- Document all service work performed and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Familiarity with Service Titan a plus
- Ability to plumb, boil, weld, and refrigerate as necessary for job functions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license
