Monza World Class Karting at Foxwoods Resort Casino is hiring Bartenders to join our Food & Beverage staff! This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys guest interactions and an active workday.
You'll be responsible for taking guest orders, serving guests their food and/or beverages, and ensuring a fun but safe environment for all guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in an eager, polite, and responsive manner
- Quickly and accurately process customer orders for excellent customer service
- Effectively and accurately process customer payments (ensuring proper billing, collecting proper payments, and providing correct change)
- Set and manage all customer expectations
- Ensure compliance all food safety requirements at all times
- Clean and Maintain the bar and dining areas
- Ensure customer safety to the highest degree possible
- Respectfully follow managements instructions and procedures
- Effectively communicate with co-workers (other bartenders, kitchen staff) and management
- Maintain proper inventory and stock management
- Managing a sometimes fast-paced environment while taking customer orders and making drinks
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of hiring
- High School Diploma or GED
- Drivers' License and reliable transportation required
- 1+ Years of bartending experience preferred
- ServSafe Certified (preferred)
- TIPS Certified (preferred)
- Able to communicate clearly with customers and staff members in English (working knowledge of Spanish a plus)
- Capable of performing the physical aspects of the job including, but not limtied to, bending, twisting, standing for long periods of time, and lifting up to 30 lbs
Ideal Candidate:
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Attention to details
- Previous food safety experience
- Previous bartending experience
- Experience in entertainment or retail environments
- Experience bussing and cleaning tables
- ServSafe and TIPS Certified
Schedule:
- Opening, Closing, Weekend, and Holiday shifts
